Privacy Policy - Vaulto Protector
General
Vaulto Technologies Ltd. ("Vaulto", "us", "we", or "our") develops and provides the Vaulto Protector App, API, and Service (collectively Vaulto Protector). This privacy policy (the "Privacy Policy") applies to Vaulto Protector and not to other Vaulto Protector and services unless those incorporate Vaulto Protector. Vaulto Protector consist of (a) an application may be installed on end-user smartphones or (“Application”), (b) Server software and hardware (“Infrastructure”), c) services on third party networks (d) administrative and management features for customer organizations (“Management”), and (e) API used by 3rd parties integrated Vaulto Protector capabilities into their own products. The Infrastructure and Management may be installed, hosted and/or maintained by Vaulto, or by a third party such as the end user’s organization or some other software vendor or managed service provider. The information Vaulto collects depends on whether the Infrastructure and Management are operated and/or managed by Vaulto, or operated and/or managed by a third party. If user’s Services are operated and/or managed by an entity other than Vaulto, user should contact that entity to obtain their privacy policy.

Vaulto is committed to protect and respect user’s privacy.
This Privacy Policy informs user of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal information we receive from users of our Services. This includes information provided to us voluntarily as well as other information generated by Vaulto Protector.
Vaulto Protector secures phone calls and text messages for the privacy and security of mobile communications. When Vaulto provides the Infrastructure and Management services, we collect and use certain personal information for the sole purpose of setting up, maintaining and monitoring operation of Vaulto Protector. By using Vaulto Protector, user agrees to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Information Collection and Use
While using Vaulto Protector, we may ask user to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify user. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to user’s name, phone no. email address, billing information, phone calls, etc. Some of the information is requested by the Vaulto Protector while installing and configuring these products. Other information may be provided by the mobile phone’s operating system or the mobile operator network upon request from Vaulto Protector. Configuration information may be provided by the user or it may be provided in batches by the user’s system administrators pre-configuring the Vaulto Protector. If the Services are operated by a third party (“Service Provider”), Vaulto does not collect personal information other than what is required for purposes of monitoring and maintenance of the Products and their operation, unless the customer purchasing the Vaulto Protector specifically requests that Vaulto does not provide the monitoring and maintenance services. Collected Information includes:

One time Collection for on-boarding to the service:

End user’s account access information, such as the username and password and any other applicable passphrases

End user’s device location and wireless networks connection properties (both Wi-Fi and cellular)

Aggregated statistics generated from the above logging information that provides overall metrics for analysis of quality of service and for troubleshooting (“Aggregated Information”). Aggregate Information may be available to Vaulto in cases where it serves as the service provider and in cases where the service is provided by a third party, unless the customer purchasing the Vaulto Protector specifically requests that Vaulto does not retain such information.
In addition, we may collect other personal information from users when communicating with them as part of a technical support call, chat or email conversation. All such information will be requested verbally over the phone or in the email/chat conversation.
In connection with the use of Vaulto Protector and Services and communicating with Vaulto, we may also process and retain the following data:

Information that user voluntarily provide by completing forms on the site, including but not necessarily limited to site registration, subscription to our service, posted material, requests for further services or the reporting of a problem with the site.

Records of our correspondence or interaction(s) with user.

User’s responses to our research surveys, questionnaires or other interrogatories (which user is not compelled to respond to).

Transactional information related to the placing and/or fulfillment of user’s orders, including but not limited to telephone numbers and other details regarding the devices on which user install our software.

Details of user’s visits to our site including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, web-logs, communication data and resources that user access.

Data and metadata related to or associated with the Services.
Data Retention
Whereas Vaulto serves as the service provider of the Services, then the information continuously collected (as detailed above) is maintained by Vaulto and destroyed after a maximum of 24 hours, and Aggregated Information is maintained for a maximum of 90 days.
Information collected for onboarding is maintained as long as the user is subscribed to the service
Information We DO NOT Collect
The Vaulto Applications and Service do not store or retain the actual content of any voice/video communications from calls and messaging. The Services do provide for store and forward-based messaging. Vaulto Service destroys all personally identifiable metadata obtained from your voice/video call and messaging transactions after a maximum of 90 days.
How We Use the Data We Collect
We use information collected about customers in the following ways:

Ensuring that content from our Site/App is presented in the most effective manner.

Providing information, products or services that are requested from us or which may interest our customers, where they have consented to being contacted for such purposes.

Carrying out our contractual and legal obligations.

Allowing participation in interactive features of our Site, App and/or Services.

Notifying our customers of changes to our Products and Services.
Information Collected through Use of Vaulto Protector
We only use email addresses for setup and support purposes. We do not share collected information with any outside parties except as provided in this section. All of this information is used strictly for technical support purposes.
Vaulto Protectors Service is provided to contracting organizations/companies as a paid service. Vaulto may, on request, provide collected information to the contracting organization/company. We recommend user contact its Service Provider for information on how they use collected information and how long they retain it.
Our Commitment to Data Security & Keeping Data Confidential
To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have defined appropriate electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the collected information as part of the Vaulto Protector.
The security of user’s personal Information is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect user’s personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. Thus, the transmission of information is at user’s own risk, but upon our receipt thereof we apply strict security features and procedures intended to guard against unauthorized access.
We may disclose user’s personal information to third parties in the following limited circumstances:

In the event that we engage in discussions relating to the supply of products or services required for the provision of our service to our customers, for example: personal billing information and registered contact information will be disclosed in the event of the appointment of an authorized payment service provider, or in regard to the possible purchase or sale of a business or business assets, and such discussions require statistical information about licensed users;

If all or substantially all of our assets or the assets of any member of our group are acquired by a third party, in which case personal data held by us about our customers will be one of the transferred assets;

If we are obligated to disclose or share user’s personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, including any obligation to disclose personal data to a regulatory body or law enforcement agency in circumstances where a legitimate court order has been obtained from a court of competent jurisdiction (keeping in mind that we are technically unable to disclose in decrypted form any conversation or message communicated using our products once it has been completed and/or delivered to its destination), or in order to enforce or apply the terms of the relevant license agreement and/or other agreements;

If disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of, inter alia, our business, our employees, or our customers, we may disclose for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction, as well as the prevention of hostile acts;

In the event that the Vaulto Protector utilize a 3rd party provider for call or text message termination/origination, the caller ID and/or dialed number are passed to the provider in order to facilitate the call.
The data that we receive from you will be stored in a protected environment and will only be accessed by authorized personnel involved in fulfilling customer’s order, processing payment details or the provision of support services. We are committed to taking all steps, commercially reasonable, to ensure that user’s data is secure and treated in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
The protection of our customers’ privacy is of utmost importance to us and we will never sell or distribute our customers’ private information save for in circumstances provided for in this privacy policy or another contract with customer/user.
Third Party Services
We will not be held responsible or liable in any manner whatsoever for the consequences of user’s decision to access or submit information to third parties for any related services.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy is effective as of April 5, 2017 and will remain in effect except with respect to any changes in its provisions in the future, which will be in effect immediately after being posted on our Site.
We reserve the right to update or change our Privacy Policy at any time and user should check this Privacy Policy periodically. User’s continued use of the Service after we post any modifications to the Privacy Policy on this page will constitute as user’s acknowledgment of the modifications and user’s consent to abide and be bound by the modified Privacy Policy.
If we make any material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify user either through the email address user has provided us, or by placing a prominent notice on our website.
